?I have always loved being in the water and also practicing yoga since I was a teenager. Taking Yoga into the water and developing a program for teachers and students is a way to educate and share yoga with a wider range of students than ever before. People who may have a low sense of self-esteem, along with an idea that yoga is only for the fit, flexible and young for example. Our society is very fragmented these days and yoga is all about unification. A class setting where the able bodied yogi practices along side someone who may be recovering from a stroke or cancer builds a sense of community and inclusion that helps us to take our yoga practice into our lives as householders.?

Camella (Swami Nibhrtananda) is a direct disciple the Kriya lineage and is a registered and certified yoga instructor. She currently lives in the bay area and teaches many styles of yoga and meditation on land as well as hatha in the water. She is currently working on her next book which will be on pre-natal kriya yoga, and establishing a woman?s circle to help physically and mentally abused women nationwide.
