Live From Antartica: Free TeleWebcast on December 13th at 5pm (Pacific Time) with Susan Fox Rogers Book Tour
Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) December 12, 2007 -- How do people live and work at the bottom of the Earth where it's 100 degrees below zero, the sun never shines in the winter, and you are faced with surviving blizzards of epic proportions?
What is the fate of the Adelie penguins--the bellwether of climate change?
What is it like to explore unmapped territories where your footprints will outlive you, discover dinosaur bones when you are looking for krill, or find love in the coldest, harshest climate in the world?
Editor Susan Fox Rogers and contributors to "Antarctica: Life on the Ice" (Travelers' Tales, 2007) will appear at a free TeleWebcast on December 13th at 5pm (Pacific Time). "This live TeleWebcast provides a rare opportunity to participate in a panel discussion and live Q & A session with researchers and other experts who have lived and worked in Antarctica, right from the comfort of your home or office," said Cheryl McLaughlin, founder of 360 Book Buzz.
