Author's New Book Claims We Are in Throes of the Last Days
Longwood, FL (PRWEB) April 19, 2008 -- Unbeknownst to Christians, many of the Bible's prophecies are playing out in news headlines across the globe. Dr. James S. Ford, author of Israel: God's Time Clock! What Lies Ahead for the Middle East, the United States and All Mankind? (paperback, 978-1-60477-867-0) says we are in the throes of the last days and that the rapture of the church could occur at any moment. But what does the Bible predict will happen when Satan uses Russia and many Middle Eastern Muslim and Arab countries in an attempt to wipe the nation of Israel off the face of the map and, in so doing, make the Bible a book of falsehood?
Says Ford, "Hopefully all who read the book will get a better idea of the uniqueness of Bible prophecy. In addition, (I) hope they will not only begin to watch the news for what is going on in the Middle East and Russia, but if they have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord an Savior that they will do so."
Shortly after accepting Christ as his Savior at the tender age of 14, Ford came across a book that touched on Bible prophecy in his church library. When a deacon heard of his interest, he gave him copies of The Book of Daniel and The Book of Revelation by Clarence Larkin. From then on, he spent much time studying the Bible--especially prophecy. It was only after retiring that he turned to writing, answering God's call to share His prophetic Word. "Hopefully, all who read (my book), especially any who have not accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, will be drawn into a place of blessing and spiritual fellowship with the one 'who died that we might live'," the author says.
